Currently, you’ll find me with the team over at The Daily, a daily news podcast from The New York Times. As a producer with the Daily team, I work with some of the best producers and editors in the industry to turn around compelling stories that help audiences understand the biggest news stories of the day.

NPR / Morning Edition and Up First
At Morning Edition, I worked with the staff to bring 2 hours of news programming to our daily audience of over 7.5 million listeners. I pitched stories and features (check out the interview with award-winning children’s author Mo Willems, or the conversation with the stars of The Bold Type), booked guests and managed connection logistics, prepped hosts, edited 2-ways, put together reporter pieces and worked to make sure that the show came together everyday with all the parts intact.
Producing Up First meant little sleep and a lot of busy mornings delivering listeners their daily news by 6 AM. I worked each night with the Up First editor to craft the scripts for hosts and reporters, and to select the sound we included, ensuring our audience started the day up to date on the newsiest moments. All the work came together as we taped the show live at 5 AM ET and turned the entire thing around to publish a finely produced, NPR-quality podcast.
NPR / Weekend all things considered
During my internship with Weekend All Things Considered (WATC), the team took me on and treated me like a producer from the beginning. I not only was able to book governors, members of Congress, and political figures throughout my time with the show, but I also often scripted the conversations, and worked to build some out for the web.
